And Another Year Passes By . . .

Posted: December 27, 2013 in Uncategorized

This is how 2013 is ending.  It has been a great year, no doubt.  I started the year blogging on Blogger. About a month ago, I was persuaded to move here. It has been awesome so far. Thank you, good people. Throughout the year, I  bombarded you with unsolicited opinion on Ghanaian literature. My squirrel teeth did some damage along the way. To all those I offended, I am sorry I have no plans for retiring on that. 🙂  Thank you for reading this blog and forming opinion just like I do except that we might not agree on issues.

I hate new year resolutions. The truth I have never kept to them so I will not be promising anything. My only prediction is that Uganda is the next big thing in African literature. Will the Caine Prize be  dominated yet again by Nigerians? Is poetry dead? New novels?

OK . . .ok, enough of my dramatic questions. Happy holidays, everyone. And one more thing . . .thank you. Let’s do it again next year. God bless you.
